AnyTool is 1,298 free tools (PDF, image, video, audio, OCR, speech-to-text and more) that run entirely inside the browser. The file never leaves the user's phone or laptop: no server, no upload, no account, no usage caps, no watermarks. The market leaders, iLovePDF, Smallpdf, Sejda and PDF24, send every file to a server in Europe; India is their number-one market, and none of them is Indian. AnyTool is the India-first, no-upload alternative: 14 categories on one site, working offline on any phone, at near-zero hosting cost. Launched 15 September 2026. Raising ₹1.25 crore for 18 months of runway.
Startups thrive by identifying real-world challenges and solving them with innovation. This section highlights the specific problem they address and the practical solution they’ve crafted to create meaningful impact and lasting value.
Every "free online tool" a person finds, to compress a PDF or resize a photo, sends the file to someone else's server first. That file is often a salary slip, a passport scan, an Aadhaar card or an exam form. The market leaders say so themselves: iLovePDF keeps files on its servers for up to two hours, Sejda two, Smallpdf and PDF24 one. In India this is daily life: lakhs of NEET, SSC and UPSC applicants, and portals demanding a PDF under 200 KB. India is their number-one market, and not one of them is Indian.
AnyTool runs the tool inside the browser. Video, audio, OCR, speech-to-text and PDF engines (ffmpeg, Tesseract, Whisper, pdf-lib) run on the user's device through WebAssembly, so there is no upload step, no server, no database. Anyone can verify it in DevTools, and most tools keep working with Wi-Fi off. Users get 1,298 tools across 14 categories on one site, free, with no account, no usage caps and no watermarks, plus India-first tools: NEET, SSC and UPSC photo presets, 200 KB portal compression, Aadhaar masking, GST and SIP calculators. Hosting costs about $0; the engine can be licensed.
India is the number-one market for iLovePDF, Smallpdf and Sejda, yet none is Indian; iLovePDF alone draws about 150 million visits a month and filed $21.4 million revenue for 2024. AnyTool is the only India-first toolbox where nothing uploads: 1,298 tools, no caps, no account, works offline, near-zero hosting cost.
